Indiana Update:
  • Article: Increasing Demand for Land Surveyors Sparks Changes – Despite some critism, Purdue University moves program into different department to attract more students.

  • Hamilton County Surveyor Kenton C. Ward, an ISPLS associate member, has been named to the board of directors of the National Association of Counties. The board is responsible for overall policy and management of the association, which seeks to help the nation's 3,066 counties be better heard in the White House and Congress. Ward also is president of the National Association of Counties and serves as central vice president of the County Surveyors Association of Indiana.

  • The Hamilton County Surveyor's Office has updated its Phase II Stormwater Pollution Prevention website. Information is available for anyone interested in improving the county's water quality and complying with new regulations. Check http://www.co.hamilton.in.us/cleanwater
